As a Westwood Sourcing team, we had the privilege of attending the Eisenwarenmesse 2024 in Cologne, a leading global trade fair that impressed 38,000 trade visitors from 133 countries. A catalyst for innovation and trends within the hardware industry, this event provided us with a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments in sustainable and ethical sourcing strategies.
The fair is known for a wide range of products within the hardware industry, including tools, fasteners, security systems, and innovative technologies for the home and garden.
During the fair we focused on strengthening our knowledge in sourcing and expanding our network of (potential) suppliers. The interaction with leading suppliers and the insight into advanced production techniques and materials will help us enrich our services. This experience has confirmed our position as a leader in sustainable sourcing and provided us with new perspectives that we will integrate into our future projects.
